Zak Mirz is a Dallas–Fort Worth–based magician and storyteller celebrated for blending emotional narrative with jaw-dropping illusions. A first-generation American of Iranian and Afghan descent, Zak turned personal tragedy into a lifelong passion for creating moments of wonder and hope through magic. Over the past decade, he has toured internationally with his acclaimed live show Flashes of Magic, captivating audiences with a powerful mix of sleight of hand, humor, and deeply personal storytelling.
Now, Zak returns with his most exciting project yet: the world’s first interactive, family-friendly magic show where you choose what happens next. Kid @ ❤️ is unlike any magic show you’ve ever seen. At every magic show, there are believers and skeptics—but in this one, everyone gets a voice. No matter where you stand, YOU direct the experience, shaping the magic as it unfolds in real time.
A semifinalist on America’s Got Talent Season 20 and a winner on Penn & Teller: Fool Us!, Zak is recognized as one of today’s most innovative voices in illusion. His artistry has also taken him behind the scenes as a magic advisor for David Blaine’s The Magic Way. Beyond the stage, Zak uses magic as a force for good—his specially designed deck of cards raises awareness and funds to combat human trafficking.
